Adult Literacy Advocates` 2010 Author Event on Tuesday, March 16, will feature local author Hans Sternberg discussing his recent book, "We Were Merchants," detailing his family`s management of the Goudchaux`s and Maison Blanche department stores in Baton Rouge. The author event will take place at Mockler Beverage Budweiser`s Hospitality Room. Doors open at 6:30 p.m, and the program begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35, or $25 for college students with valid ID. Food and beverages are included. All proceed benefit Adult Literacy Advocates.
